FUCK YALL I MISS CARDI
When are we going to stop disrespecting women? I'm serious.
By now most people probably know Cardi B announced on her Instagram that her and her baby father Offset are getting a divorce. What else is there to say other than good riddance. Offset however commented on the video 'Yall won.' Yall won? It's hard to believe that a man who so confidently cheated on the mother of his child would genuinely believe the fault is anyone's other than his own.
Offset is the perfect example of what we women have known for years - generations. You can be everything (e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g) a man wants. You can have the perfect ass, ambition, money, beauty and loyalty. Yet, it still isn't enough . If a man doesn't want to be kept there is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do or could have done differently to keep him. Honestly, all of us women know an Offset. The man who has everything and yet still throws it away for nothing.
A dog is a dog and a cheat is a cheat.
What's even weirder, Offset's attempts to save their marriage. Some white flowers? Is that it? Offset interrupting Cardi's set to beg her to take him is incredibly possessive, but why isn't everyone seeing it that way? Can you imagine if it was the other way around. We would all be calling Cardi crazy if she did the same thing.
We need to learn how to love people enough and love them in the right way how they deserve, by not wanting to manipulate and control your partner.
These TakeOffsetBack attempts are incredibly disrespectful and not only that it says something about the way society allows women to suffer in romantic relationships. Not only do we allow it but we normalise it. In TV shows, films and books women have had to accept the infidelity of their husbands and boyfriends and take on the responsibility of holding their family together. This same standard is repeated over and over.
Cheating is not part of the normal ups and downs of romantic relationships that women have to heal from and hold the weight of on their shoulders just because you asked them to.
Does anyone remember a couple pf years ago when Kehlani cheated on her on her boyfriend and was attacked so viciously with death threats that she attempted to take her own life. So why do crowds chant 'Cardi take Offset back?'
We have to start acting like women are not men's property and do not owe themselves to toxic and trash partners.
To all women, my sisters, my friends and to you - respect yourself enough to only accept those who are worthy of your time and are willing to prove it.
Thank u, next.

Cheating is a bit of a sensitive topic but I'm glad you've done a blog about it 😅
ReplyDeleteIt sickens me really that (and I've got to say around 95% of men still probably do) men still see women as their property, like really? I'm glad you've highlighted that for starters. Speaking as a guy myself I wish this wasn't the case anymore 🤦♂️
Everything is in this blog post for me is straight up facts and I can't wait to see more of what you post as it's really inspiring and it's even making me ponder about doing a blog post or two myself.
Thank you, I rest my case ♥️
I’m glad it you enjoyed it 💗 the support means so much, I think it comes down to reprogramming what we see as healthy relationships, boundaries and teaching men how to treat women better, but it works the other way too. You deserved so much better. Thank you so much 💞
DeleteIt works both ways, you're spot on because it takes two to tango as they say, I think 😅
DeleteUnfortunately it was my ex who used me as property so like you said, it definitely works the other way as well.
Thank you though, this has honestly been the best blog I think I've ever come across 🙏
We don't realise what we've got until we lose it and that can be said for all those that have cheated.
Keep bringing these out, much love ♥️
